Starlight Family is registered community based charity organization under the Uganda Government through the office of Kiboga District Local Government with the registration number: 170114 and has been providing free education. home for homeless and orphans children(orphanage children home Centre) Over the years as well as provided plant based food meals in rural area of Kiboga, Uganda to children from poverty stricken backgrounds who would otherwise not be able to access education and food. We have been managing on sporadic donations from well wishers over the last years however the incident of last years pandemic affect us badly and we are depending on donation income which has fallen due to financial difficulties that people are facing worldwide. We also have land where usually we are able to grow vegetables to support our feeding programs but due to lack of a year round water supply and because this year, due to lack of financial resources, we were not able to plant the land during the rainy season as we have in other years it means our usual crops will not be available to us in the coming months. The meals that are given to the children at school and the orphanage children's home Centre can often be the difference between them being fed properly or not and is part of promoting their psychosocial well-being We are asking for your support to help us continue this service during a especially difficult period by sponsoring the construction of our permanent community spring well our .



Starlight Family's long term goal and mission is to create additional projects to raise standards of living for the most vulnerable in the area and to help them and the charity to become self-supporting. For example we are hoping with your financial support to build and create a spring well on our organic vegetable farm which will enable us to grow food all year round to feed the children, animals, plants, birds under our care and raise some small income for other projects as well as teach the adults in the whole community about organic farming / growing.
