Do What's Right For You

This is a weird situation we find ourselves and it's exhausting. Keep wondering why I'm so tired (other than a one year old who spends the night squeezing & kicking me) but I'm coming to realise it's the intensity of the emotions I'm feeling and how erratic they are that has me wrecked.

One moment I feel positive & peaceful the next I'm overwhelmed, stressed and feel like joy is a distant memory.



 



So in order to try & get the best out of this current way of life & lessen anxiety for me & the kids I've created a routine/rosta for Mon -Friday that includes school, tea & lunch breaks, exercise and a walk every afternoon.

This might not work for everyone but having some sort of structure really helps me right now.



 



I've also been spending way too much time on my phone so going to limit myself to checking Instagram and Facebook twice a day. I don't think there is a one size fits all way to deal with this and everyone needs to do what is right for them - maybe that's working our every day or not at all. Maybe it's keeping busy or maybe it's taking lots of naps. Maybe it's getting dressed up or maybe it's living in loungewear. Stay safe, look after each other & look after you. x
