WE ARE VERY PROUD OF THIS WISH GRANTED: PHILADELPHIA

"In September, during the Wishwall event, a woman put up a wish: help me to find who killed my daughter and also I don't want her to be forgotten. I remember that I ran after her because she left suddenly crying. She told me the story, somebody killed her daughter Theresa in a hit and run and they still didn't find the killer. I had a strong feeling and I promised her that I would have done anything in my possibilities to help her and her family. Yesterday I was on cbs telling the story with her. I decided to grant this wish having the city renaming the street where Theresa grew up after her and putting a big billboard with a reward where she died, also granting the attention of the city that is back on the case. After only 5 months that I am in this big city and I did all this I know that if you want it everything is possible. They told me that Italians do good and my heart is full of gratitude knowing that I am helping a family to spend a tiny bit better Christmas. They know that NOW NOBODY WILL EVER FORGET THERESA. The street will be renamed: A Theresa' s way. Theresa was my age and so proud to be half Italian. Of course I discovered all this after so it is an amazing experience for me and I feel it deep in my heart. I want to thank the city for trusting me and her family for allowing me to help them. This story shows that if you want anything is possible.

RIP Theresa, your friend Simonetta Lein"

We are looking on many more meaningful and inspiring wishes to help. Please, if you have one, share it wih us.
