Las Vegas: A Reminder for Us to Stay Safe & Smart

Date Published: 10/04/2017

I'm sure most of you have already heard of the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas over the weekend. Over 50 people were killed at an outdoor music festival outside of Mandalay Bay hotel. I want to express my condolences to the victims as well as their family and friends.

While this was a vile act of terrorism, I don't want that to stop people from attending events in the future. Music, arts, fashion and sports have the ability to bring happiness, unity and love to the world when we need it most. Having said that I do want everyone to take precautions when they go out.

My wish for this week is a simple one. When you go out this weekend, especially in a crowded place, be contentious of the exits. When you go to the movie theaters with your family or the club with your friends, I hope you do the same. That precaution may save your life.

I'm sharing my wish because I want to make sure everyone stays safe and has fun this week!

Peace and Love,
