Everyone Deserves to Succeed

Today marks the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s assassination. Today we remember him for his vital role in the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and his “I Have A Dream” speech. What many don’t know is that when he died, his passion was focused on ending poverty.

He worked with the Poor People’s Campaign who strived for economic justice for people of diverse backgrounds. Dr. King realized there was an economic injustice happening in the United States and wanted to rectify it.

My wish is to self reflect on how we can help this cause become to reality. If we think of ways to find stability by educating our country, we will help everyone succeed.

Peace and Love,
